• Oversee baggage loading/unloading, fuelling, catering, and other ground services.
3. Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety regulations on the ramp and around aircraft.
• Conduct inspections to ensure that ground operations comply with aviation laws, airport and company policies.
4. Passenger Services Support:
• Coordinate arrival and departure procedures.
• Resolve any issues related to baggage, delays, and customer complaints on the ground.
5. Resource Management:
• Allocate equipment like vehicles, tugs, belts, and stairs as needed.
• Monitor the availability and serviceability of ground support equipment (GSE).
6. Emergency Response:
• Act as a first point of contact during ground emergencies (e.g., aircraft incidents, fuel spills).
• Coordinate with airport fire, medical, and security teams.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
• Complete necessary paperwork for flight operations and reports.
• Update databases and logs related to aircraft handling.
8. Liaison Role:
• Act as a bridge between the airline, airport authorities, customs, and other stakeholders.
• Attend operational briefings and relay important information to teams.
9. Weather Monitoring:
• Track weather conditions and assess potential impacts on ground and flight operations.
